Grill Cook

The Grill Cook assists in the production and fabrication of food products for Kitchen preparation, banquet and Dining Room. Prompt, efficient and friendly service and provide an outstanding dining service experience to guests. Must possess strong customer service skills and exhibit a high degree of professionalism at all times. Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Is responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste and fraud.

 

  •  Prepares meats such as steak, chicken, and fish to temperature and monitor for quality while cooking on grill
  •  Prepares food for banquets and create daily specials based on available ingredients
  •  Performs preparatory work such as cutting meat, skewering meat, mixing sauces, and making vegetable garnishes
  • Interacts with club members to provide for special requests
  •  Cooks food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
  •  Washes and sanitizes tools, knives, and kitchen area

 

Preferred Education and Experience Culinary School Diploma or equivalent experience A high school diploma or equivalent. Pizza experience is highly desirable.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with benefits and overtime. Days and hours of work are PM shifts five days a week including weekends and holidays.
