Chemist Job Description:
The candidate must have a degree in Polymer Chemistry or Materials Science or related fields. Necessary skills include knowledge of polymer chemistry, computational skills, and report writing. Must have capability and know how of:
Analytical instruments including FESEM and Light Microscopes, EDAX/EDS, GC, FTIR, UV-VIS, viscometer, and should be willing to learn additional non-microscopy analytical methods for product evaluation.
Polymer characterization tools and techniques using SEM, optical microscopes, BET, porosimeter, TGA, and DSC, and should also be willing to learn additional analytical methods for product evaluation.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, experience in leading projects from proposal effort to preparation of final reports, and excellent team working skills
