Job Description: As a CDLA driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and transportation operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our distribution center to various locations. Your primary focus will be on delivering goods on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate and maneuver a CDLA vehicle to transport goods.
2. Adhere to all traffic and transportation regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
4. Load and unload goods in a secure and organized manner, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
5. Plan routes and schedule deliveries to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
7. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company in a positive manner.
8. Collaborate with the logistics team to report any delivery or inventory discrepancies.

Requirements:

1. Valid CDLA driver's license with a clean driving record with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
2. Proven experience as a CDLA driver, preferably with 5 years of driving experience.
3. Knowledge of current transportation regulations and best practices.
4. Excellent driving skills and the ability to operate CDLA vehicles safely.
5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
6. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekends.
